The Anchorage Waldorf School is seeking a full-time grade 4/5 teacher for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. The ideal applicant will:
Develop learning objectives and lesson plans
Have a deep connection to anthroposophy, and a demonstrated ability to teach in an artistic and enlivened manner
Have love and appreciation for teaching students through the grades, and the vision to embrace this multi-year journey.
Have experience and active interest in a place-based and multicultural curriculum reflecting our diverse community
Ideally have experience teaching primary grades language arts, history, science, math, and visual and musical arts.
Embrace collaboration with colleagues and communicate well with students, parents and staff

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
A Waldorf Grade School Teaching Certificate and previous Waldorf teaching experience are highly valued. We are willing to work with the right candidate who lacks this experience but is willing to pursue future training in Waldorf pedagogy.
