MWS Development Director is a member of the Administrative team with responsibility for cultivating a culture of philanthropy to further the mission of the school. The Development Director works closely with the Administrator and the Board of Trustees to establish and meet development goals for the organization and to direct the activities of the Development Committee.

This position requires:
Fundraising Experience
Marketing Experience
Experience recruiting and managing volunteers
Experience with Waldorf education
Computer literacy

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to raise funds for the school's operations as well as capital projects, a willingness to learn about the MWS governance structure and an ability to guide parents in working within its framework. The Development Director is detail oriented, well organized and a skilled communicator who assures a welcoming environment for all who enter the school.

In addition to a base salary of $39,000 benefits include 100% tuition remission, health insurance for the employee and their children, 401K match and $1,000 in professional development.
