We have a warm and skilled piano accompanist, as well as two spaces for Eurythmy lessons, one with a carpeted floor and one with a sprung floor.
The Vancouver Waldorf School was founded in 1971. Currently we have a growing student body of 250 students, from Pre School to Grade Twelve, as well as a dedicated faculty and staff. The Vancouver Waldorf School is located in beautiful North Vancouver where the mountains meet the sea, in the heart of the outdoor activity capital of the world. Surrounded by astounding scenery, the school’s urban setting is just across the harbour from downtown Vancouver and combines the best of both worlds with easy access to international culture and museums as well as quiet mountain hikes, rivers, and waterfalls.
The city of Vancouver is host to a variety of Anthroposophical organizations, including a Christian Community Church and an Anthroposophical Society Branch. Also in the neighbourhood is The Cascadia Society for Social Working, a Camphill community with a long-standing and close working relationship with the school.
