Early Childhood Afternoon Associate Teacher
Nov 04 2021 | Spring Hill Children's Center | Keene, NH
Spring Hill Children’s Center is Seeking Afternoon Associate Teacher
Spring Hill Children’s Center is seeking an afternoon associate teacher. The ideal candidate would have interest in, or knowledge of, Waldorf education and/or Nature-based education. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, receiving children after the morning program, facilitating lunch and a quiet nap/rest time, afternoon activities, dismissal at the end of the day, and being a caring presence for the children.
Spring Hill Children’s Center is a new preschool and kindergarten initiative that will serve children and families of the greater Monadnock region. Tucked into the hills surrounding Keene, NH, our beautiful campus offers a rich environment for children ages 3-6 to explore the natural world and all its wonders. We are a Waldorf-inspired and Nature-based program. We are seeking teachers and staff who will facilitate curricula based out of a deep respect and understanding of children’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, and cognitive development. Free play, meaningful work, story, song, rhythm, imagination, and connection to the natural world are central to the program. Through this rich variety of activities Spring Hill aims to nourish the whole child, allowing the development of deep trust in themselves, care for others, a wonder-filled connection to nature, and a love of learning.
