Orchard Valley Waldorf School, in East Montpelier Vermont, is looking for a Movement and Games teacher for grades 1st-5th. This person is responsible for providing students with a program that appropriately develops both their physical and inner growth through movement, games, and preparing for special events, such as the Pentathlon and Medieval Games. The land and property is an ideal place for providing children with the essentials for their developing bodies. The long Vermont winter allows for ample opportunity to cross-country ski and sled.

OVWS is a small, rural school set on a beautiful 55-acre campus that encompasses meadows, forests, orchards, garden, and is abutted by the Kingsbury Branch of the Winooski River. We offer a rich Waldorf curriculum in combined classes. The campus is also home to an early childhood program and we have chickens, goats, and sheep, which our students help to care for.

The school is located 8 miles from Montpelier, Vermont’s capital. It's a small town with big-city amenities - a lively arts and music scene, great restaurants, and an active community life.
