Orchard Valley Waldorf School, in East Montpelier Vermont, is seeking a Handwork teacher for grades 1-5. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Waldorf teacher, have a deep understanding of child development, and will enthusiastically implement a dynamic curriculum
that meets the needs of the growing child through handwork and other practical arts.

OVWS is a small, rural school set on a beautiful 55-acre campus that encompasses meadows, forests, orchards, garden, and is abutted by the Kingsbury Branch of the Winooski River. We offer a rich Waldorf curriculum in combined classes. Our campus is also home to an early childhood program and we have chickens, goats, and sheep, which our students help care for.

Our school is located 8 miles from Montpelier, Vermont’s capital. It's a small town with big-city amenities - a lively arts and music scene, great restaurants, and an active community life.

This position is for the 21/22 school year. This is a part time hourly position dependent on skills, qualifications, and availability.
