This is also a great opportunity for those that may not have as much, since Waldorf training will be available with mentors, and online classes purchased from Lifeways.
An assistant Teacher needed at a 10 acre Permaculture Farm School in Bend Oregon. Blossoming Lotus is breathtaking and built with the intention to serve children for years to come in Central Oregon. It has a greenhouse filled with vegetables, a beautiful pond with bloss, with lotus flowers (hence the name), heirloom fruit orchard and a centralized playspace for the children to play and develop a closeness to the natural world, both an indoor and outdoor space for weather fluctuations.
This is an incredible opportunity for a team of teachers to be a part of the growing vision of Blossoming Lotus, located in beautiful Central Oregon.
The focus of our school is to provide an intentional outdoor experience where the teacher and children will be surrounded with beauty and intentional partnership with the land and animals around them. Currently the Farm hosts a deep connection with ducks, chickens, turkeys, goats and alpacas with opportunities for further growth. Providing the children with ample opportunities to care for and build deep relationships with the animals and caring for them.
Additionally, the teacher and children will utilize the greenhouse, the bountiful berries and the land around to support the nourishing traditions that enhance the early childhood rhythms.
The teachers will be in charge of supporting the outdoor and indoor farm rhythm of the day while building a rich, diverse yearly rhythm.
Seeking individuals who have experience in Waldorf education, a great sense of humor and take great pride in their work. Additionally the teachers should be CPR and First Aid trained and registered in ORO.
