Now Hiring | Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

Nevada Sage Waldorf School is seeking an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic assistant teacher to work with young children in the classroom, bringing warmth, consistency, and rhythm to our program.

Our ideal Early Childhood Assistant Teacher candidate has familiarity with and interest in Waldorf education. This person will uphold the high standards of Waldorf education and our faculty.

Children in our Early Childhood Program are ages 2 to 6 years old. The daily rhythm will include both indoor and outdoor free play, singing and storytelling, snack times, and rest/naps.

Essential Duties Include:

Caring for the children
Observing and communicating student behaviors to class teachers
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
Preparing snack
Assisting with set up and clean up
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Childcare experience is required. Applicants with little or no childcare experience will not be considered.

Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and Child Abuse Reference Check (CAIC) background clearance. Must register with the Nevada Registry and keep current with Nevada licensing requirements for Childcare Centers. Must return a negative TB test.
