Alice Birney Public Waldorf EK-8 is currently looking to retain an Independent Contractor to provide Handwork to students in grades 1-8. The ideal candidate would be an experienced in Waldorf methods with a deep understanding of child development and implement a dynamic curriculum that meets the needs of the growing child through handwork. Candidates must have the ability to work with diverse children and a range of abilities across the different age groups. Key elements are strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Our school offers two tracks of 1 through 8th grade. We have a strong and experienced faculty dedicated to working with Waldorf Methods and Curriculum. Our parents are invested in their children's education and in the school, bringing great enthusiasm and energy to any project.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and Child Abuse Reference Check (CAIC) background clearance, provide proof of liability insurance and comply with all Covid -19 rules and regulations (including vaccination requirements) as set forth by any applicable government agency.
