EARLY CHILDHOOD - NURSERY ASSISTANT TEACHER

Apple Blossom Waldorf School & Family Center is seeking an Early Childhood assistant teacher for the 2021-22 school year. The position can begin right away. This is a part time, hourly position in our Nursery classroom with children ages 6 months-2 years old.

Qualifications: A warm and open disposition with the ability to care for children of mixed ages. Eagerness to learn about Apple Blossom and Waldorf education. Waldorf training and experience preferred, but not required.

Requirements: The ability to meet Connecticut OEC licensing requirements including yearly professional development, as well as to pass a CT criminal background check. To be able to lift and carry small children during caregiving times.

Apple Blossom Waldorf School and Family Center is a full member of WECAN, located in Wilton, Connecticut, “a lovely piece of heaven in a bustling world.” In it’s 17th year the School and Family Center is expanding and just moved to a larger facility down the road.
