Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Waldorf School of Lexington (WSL), now in its 51st year, is currently accepting applications for a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. In addition to supporting the teacher and children, the assistant’s duties include room setup and cleanup, cooking, baking, and keeping the environment clean and beautiful. This is an hourly, part-time, non-benefited position with an immediate start date. The schedule for this position is 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a school setting; demonstrated interest in Waldorf early childhood education; and the ability to work closely under the direction of the lead teacher. Priority will be given to applicants who are interested in Waldorf early childhood teacher training, or have completed training.
