guide in the Spanish Pyrenees
Sep 30 2021 | - | near Barcelona, Spain
Dear community,
We are two families who are working towards a waldorf inspired school in the forest, in the Catalan Pre-pyrenees. We are 90minutes away from Barcelona and 30minutes drive to the sky station, in the border with France.
We have a tipee and building a 12 sided pole structure for the school. We are only 3 playful souls (6, 5 and 3 year olds) ready to receive someone who will guide us through the mountains and accompany us in our adventures. But we know, once the project is up and running, that there will be more friends joining in, as there is a big demand of alternative education in the area.
At the moment we can offer a mobile home to live, completely independent from the house, food, probably a car and a small salary to the person who can accompany the children during the weekly days. We are open to couples and there is the possibility to find local work, depending on the skill.
The place is full of possibilities. We have a creek down the road with swimming holes, plenty of BTT tracks and hiking paths, rock climbing and a lake nearby, a sky station a stone throw and the coast is only 90 minutes away. A pottery wheel, plenty of woodworking tools and arts materials.
We are in contact with other waldorf initiatives and have their support, but we are looking for someone to help us shape it from inside. Someone who is creative and open, flexible and passionate for music and the arts. Someone who likes living in and with nature.
If that connects with you, please get in touch. We would love to meet you and see if we can make it happen...
And we know it will!
