JOB DESCRIPTION
Friends of Willow Tree is seeking an experienced teacher for a small, combined grade 7/8 class, who possesses a love for middle school students and an enthusiasm for the Waldorf curriculum. Our Middle School Class teacher carries the primary responsibility for teaching the Middle School curriculum and needs to have a strong ability to work well with parents and colleagues.

LOCATION
Willow Tree is a 1st - 8th grade Enrichment Center located in the friendly village of Fallbrook in North County San Diego. Our program serves a diverse population that might not otherwise have access to a curriculum inspired by Waldorf methods. We offer a full Waldorf curriculum, which includes two world languages (Spanish and French), woodworking, handwork, games/movement, and instrumental music.

Our teachers work with students Monday - Thursday and have Fridays in order to prepare for the upcoming week. We operate on a modified year-round calendar in order to provide teachers with a healthy schedule of breaks.


QUALIFICATIONS
~ Teaching Credential
~ Waldorf training or actively engaged in training
~ Current TB test results (within the past 4 years)
~ Pass a background check (LiveScan)
~ CPR certified

START DATE
November 2021
