The Berkshire Waldorf School is seeking a part time (afternoon) early childhood assistant for the 2021-22 school year. Our ideal candidates have Waldorf Early Childhood training and teaching experience, and love and commitment to being outdoors with children. A strong understanding of child development and a capacity to provide parent support and healthy communication are essential, and we value an interest in Anthroposophy.

Both our Nursery and our Mixed-age Kindergarten classes are based outdoors, but each class has access to an indoor classroom as well. Our beautiful campus includes playgrounds, forest trails and play areas, and gardens.

The school is a full member of AWSNA, NAIS as well as of the Association of Independent Schools of New England. The Berkshire Waldorf School is a N-8 school, and the Berkshire Waldorf High School is located nearby.

Located in Great Barrington, MA, five miles from the NY border and midway between New York City and Boston, the Berkshires are well known for their natural beauty and cultural and artistic communities.
