Mountain Oak School seeks a colleague to join our early childhood team who brings experience and enthusiasm for working with young children, ages 3-6. Strong candidates will possess a Waldorf Early Childhood teacher training and will have teaching experience, ideally in a Waldorf school setting. As the Lead Early Childhood teacher, you will work collaboratively with colleagues in regular all-school faculty, and with parents through meetings and dialogue. Applying the pedagogical principles of Waldorf education, the teacher is responsible for designing and holding the programs and activities on a day-to-day basis creating a healthy, daily and weekly rhythm as well as consciously implementing a yearly curriculum that acknowledges the year’s seasons and festival life.

Our School: Mountain Oak School, is a public charter school serving children Pre-k through 8th grade. We are located in beautiful Prescott Arizona and only minutes from downtown. Mountain Oak is the only Waldorf inspired school in the tri-city area.  Salaries are commensurate with experience.
