Enrollment Coordinator & Registrar

Position: Full Time year-round
General Objective: Promote and maintain healthy enrollment at LCWS through supporting the Admissions Director and Administrative team in all aspects of the enrollment process.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Excellent communication skills: outgoing, articulate, and professional in speaking and writing
• Enjoyment of community outreach and meeting people; personable and warm, courteous and professional in demeanor, on the phone, and in person.
• Excellent organizational skills: able to set priorities and achieve them, able to keep many processes going on simultaneously
• Excellent computer skills including database and spreadsheets
• Ability to hold all information regarding school activities, enrollment, and development work in confidence
• Knowledge of Waldorf education and LCWS curriculum program offerings and admissions requirements; or proven track record as a passionate advocate for the mission of the organization in which he or she serves.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Become well versed in all aspects of the admissions process in order to fill in on an as-needed basis.
– Communication with candidates and their guardians as needed throughout the enrollment and admission process
– Conducting student visits and school tours
– Assisting with the systematic and efficient handling of candidate applications and tracking the submission of necessary supporting credentials and documentation
– Coordinating and scheduling admissions meetings with faculty and prospective families
– Shepherding newly admitted families through enrollment at the School.
– Collaborating with PCC, faculty, and parent class reps to ensure all new families are properly welcomed and integrated into our community
• Reconcile enrollment data on a regular basis between database, admissions documents, and finance team
• Maintain student records and transcripts
• Assist with planning and holding in person and virtual outreach and development events
• Manage promotion and mailings related to events: contacting local press/media, publications, event calendars, photocopying, mailing, etc.
• Work with members of the administration and faculty to develop and facilitate school-wide retention initiatives
• Represent the school both on- and off-campus to students, parents, and to the wider community.
The Enrollment Coordinator complies and stays current with school policies and reports to the Enrollment Director. This position participates in regular administrative staff and branch meetings, full faculty meetings, in-service days and ongoing development, including diversity, equity, and inclusion training.
