Front Office Manager

General Objective
The office manager is responsible for the smooth running of the front office and assisting students, faculty, parents, and visitors.
Demonstrate warmth and a “customer service” orientation.
Be self-driven and have the ability to manage time appropriately between tasks. Build and maintain relationships with parents and prospective parents. Must be able to give tours of our school.
Manage IT, phones, copier, and emergency communication system.
Possess strong computer skills. Update school system database, Big SIS. Have proficiency in using Google Drive and software.
Manage school email groups to ensure effective communication.
Update social media sites and create newsletter communications.
Tend to the medical wellbeing of students, including responding to student medical emergencies.
Manage fire drills and crisis management drills.
Responsibilities include:
• Office Management – answer phones, greet visitors, support parents and teachers.
• Student Care – manage student medical needs, receive students to facilitate discipline or needing a break.
• Teacher Support – support assemblies, copies, distribute teacher schedules, and support subs and late-arriving teachers.
• Technology Management – administer school email accounts and lists, maintain wireless networks, phone systems, copier/printing machine and work with school database.
• This is a 39 week position that is during the school year plus 2 weeks before school starts and 2 weeks after school finishes. The pay rate is $16/hour and qualifies for prorated remission.
