The Anchorage Waldorf School is seeking a Preschool Assistant for our Early Childhood program. Our ideal candidate has some Waldorf early childhood teaching experience and/or Lifeways training. We are seeking someone who is dependable, likes to work with colleagues, has good communication skills, and has a love for working with young children.

The program includes story, rest, and indoor and outdoor free play. Our early childhood program consists of a preschool classroom for 3-4 year olds, and a kindergarten. Our Grades School serves grades 1 through 8, and offers a richness of experience in both class and subjects teachers in the areas of handwork, woodwork, foreign language, and music.


The hours for this position are 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Part-time will also be considered. Hourly pay ranges from $16-$18 per hour.
