Reading and Math Tutor
Swallowtail Waldorf School is currently hiring for a Reading and/or Math tutor, who would work one-on-one and in small groups with children in grades 1-7. Ideal candidates have experience teaching math and/or reading skills in a variety of ways, to meet the learning needs of students who are below grade level in those subjects. They also connect easily with children and parents, are organized and self-directed, and have a good knowledge of child development.
This position is an hourly position, 40 hours per week for an individual who can perform in both Reading and Math roles or 20 hours per week if your specialty resides or your preference is for one of the roles. The hourly rate is $22.00 and tuition remission prorated for hours worked is also included. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and must show proof of vaccination for COVID-19.

Our beautiful 6 acre main campus includes large classrooms with plenty of natural light and an expansive outdoor space with mature trees, a very large field, playground, covered basketball court, and early childhood play yard.
