Long-Term ECE Substitute

Long-Term Early Childhood Substitute Lead Teacher
The Denver Waldorf School is looking for a long-term ECE Substitute Lead Teacher for the timeframe of October 04, 2021 through December 17, 2021. The long-term substitute will follow the rhythm of a Waldorf Kindergarten, working with an experienced Lead Assistant in a classroom of 16 children ages 3 ½ - 6 years old.
The hours for this position will be Monday – Friday, 7:45 – 12:45, with occasional time outside of these hours for parent communication, meetings and grocery shopping for snack.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
• experience teaching in an ECE program, preferably Waldorf
• ECE Teacher qualifications according to CDHS Rules & Regulations
• enthusiasm for and commitment to teaching a full Waldorf early childhood curriculum
• a growing relationship to Anthroposophy
• the ability to organize and manage an off-site ECE program
• the ability to work well in a collegial setting
• the ability to communicate clearly and regularly with parents, while developing strong parent partnerships
• be fully vaccinated for COVID
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
This position is not a benefit eligible position
