To a very special person:
We are Looking for a Waldorf kindergarten/ first grade lead teacher.
We live in a beach house and recently added a school in the back yard, a video of it is available on our website. We did have 14 kids in the program at one point, but winter shut us down for a bit. After winterizing our space we are now eager to restart, however we can only do so with the help of a very unique individual. The program will only consist of 10 kids max, and the person accepted would be the primary teacher. Ideally they have had plenty of experience with waldorf, however, no credentials necessary. The school will run Monday through Thursday 9am-4pm (that’s only 28 hours a week). The teacher will have their own room and bathroom in a 6bed 6 bath beach house which is located in a very secluded neighborhood, surrounded by oak trees and 3 houses down from a very private beach access. The school is plant based and serves very healthy organic food. We are trying to create something special, and are reaching out to someone who is ready for an adventure :)
School will start mid September but the teacher is welcome to move in a month prior or even earlier for acclimation.
We would love to find a person that would integrate well in our home and our mission! Help us Thrive! Just as an aside, a part of the space is reserved for a retreat that will run on the weekends when the school is closed, so if you are a person that has a special art or other spiritual healing practice that you are passionate about and would love to share we could potentially implement it into our adult retreat work.
Salary will be 2K per month, with added compensation if able to assist and share something in the retreat.
I know waldorf folks have so much to offer, so this opportunity is for someone who primary enjoys kids but has the courage to step into some adult teaching space as well, most likely your gift is in you and eager to share with grownups already.
